Cumulus Support

I can't get the compass rose in the trends section to work https://www.meteoviso.es/wxtrends.php I get the error Windrose plot file ./ajax-images/windrose.png not found. I don't know if anyone can tell me how I can generate it. I've been reading and apparently Cumulus 1 did work but MX didn't. Can anybody help me??

Apparently you upgraded from Cumulus 1 to CumulusMX v3.
CMX v3 does not have charts as images so the image you want on your webpage does not exist.

You will have to revise your website with respect to images of C1 charts.

Does anyone have a script that works with CumulusMX?

It is failing to find https://www.aemet.es/imagenes_d/eltiemp ... r/r8pb.gif, so why don't you copy that .gif to and the relevant directories to the CMX area and see if that solves the problem. If it finds the .gif file it may create the image, no guarantee, but it is worth a shot.

It is also says "Windrose plot file ./ajax-images/windrose.png not found. I would try finding that in the previous website and put it into the relevant place in the CumulusMx installation and see if once the image is found the code will build the rose.

What I said above CMX: does not generate charts as image.
That also holds for the windrose.

You could try to replace that with the gauge for the windrose (configure CMX for the relevant data) but the image will have no function in CMX

So I experimented and my Saratoga with CMX showed the same error, but my Saratoga with CU1 did show the windrose. The windrose.png comes from CU1 upload through the Include Standard Images settings to remote /images folder (in Settings-weather.php). As has ben said CMX does not generate those .png files. Hans has suggested, and Brian already has done a nice job in adding the CMX images to his Saratoga site https://silveracorn.nz/weather/wxtrends.php

There is a website, people who have designed a script that reads the json, and this generates the compass rose using the dirpilot in weather display. Some website I have seen with CumulusMX. Does anyone share a script to generate the compass rose with CumulusMX? I don't know how to create one from scratch.
