Re: CumulusMX v4 - no data
Can you please zip up your log file from your MXdiags folder in your installation, and attach it to a reply to this topic? That will give us more context to work on - such as station type and error messages.

Re: CumulusMX v4 - no data
Hi Bob, unfortunately the zipped folder is empty, did you collect it from the actual folder where you run CumulusMX? It should have ServiceConsolelog.txt and some txt files named from the date and time when CMX was started.Bob.Stansfield wrote: ↑Sat 15 Jun 2024 7:37 pm hi Freddie. please find attached zipped folder of my MXDiags folder, hope you can help. Re: CumulusMX v4 - no data
The latest logs show that your startup ping -setting is wrong and prevents CMX from continuing.
2024-06-15 20:39:22.051 Sending PING #1 to 192.168.1.2:8998
2024-06-15 20:39:22.169 PING #1 to 192.168.1.2:8998 failed with error: Name or service not known
2024-06-15 20:39:32.227 PING #2: Error with DNS refresh - Name or service not known
2024-06-15 20:39:32.327 Nothing returned from PING #2, attempting the cancel the task
2024-06-15 20:40:45.347 PING #3: Error with DNS refresh - Name or service not known
2024-06-15 20:40:45.448 Nothing returned from PING #3, attempting the cancel the task
2024-06-15 20:40:55.450 PING #4: Error with DNS refresh - Name or service not known
2024-06-15 20:40:55.550 Nothing returned from PING #4, attempting the cancel the task
However the ping setting is not the reason why you are not getting any data. For some reason CMX cannot communicate with your station. I think there are more than one report of the same error, but unfortunately I think there is not a resolution available how to fix this.
