Problem with Min/Max/Avg Temperature records

Roughly twice a month the three figures for Min, Max and Average temperatures incorrectly converge to the same point on the graph. You can see from the example that this happened on 25/12 and 13/01.
Looking at the dayfile.txt file I can see two entries for each of these dates as follows:
13/01/10,9.7,90,01:57,0.2,04:27,2.1,14:27,998.0,02:27,1001.3,20:27,6.0,13:57,5.7,0.8,24.4
13/01/10,4.4,90,00:05,1.1,00:05,1.1,00:05,1000.8,00:05,1000.9,00:05,0.0,00:05,0.0,1.1,0.5
I presume the second line is the incorrect one as this shows the Min and Max to be the same, but I'm wondering why this is happening and what I can do to stop it. Any help would be gratefully received.

It looks like it's done a second rollover just after midnight. Did you restart Cumulus around midnight on those dates? What version of Cumulus are you using? What's the logger interval in your station set to? The diags files would help if the ones for that date haven't gone yet.

Thanks for replying Steve.
(i) After some problems several months ago, I try to make a point of not starting or closing down Cumulus within a few minutes either side of midnight, but can't be absolutely certain that I didn't.
(ii) 1.8.8, build 881.
(iii) Are you referring to the "Data Log Interval" in the configuration screen? If so, it's 30 minutes.
(iv) Sorry, the diags files have gone, but if it happens again I can send them if you think it might help.

Not the Cumulus log interval, the station log interval. It defaults to 30 minutes, so if you haven't changed it, that will be 30 minutes also. There have been problems in the past with missed and/or duplicate rollovers if restarting Cumulus either side of midnight within your logger period, but I think I've fixed them. I can never guarantee to have thought of every possible situation, and the longer the logger interval, the greater the chance for a problem. It
should be fine whatever, but...

Yes, it will definitely help; I should be able to work out the reason for the extra rollover.
