4.1.0 with Vantage Pro 2

From Cumulus MX version 3 build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since, and has recently released Cumulus MX version 4. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Visitors to your website will come from anywhere on the planet. They would expect to see your current weather. Just set the screen to go off and leave it running.

I have a Samsung NC10 netbook that has been running for 99.5% for 15 years. Power consumption is minimal compared to the cost of our weather kit.
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

If Cumulus is shutdown correctly (not just putting computer to sleep or hibernate without stopping Cumulus first) it really should not cause issues. Being said that of course there could be a bug needing to be fixed.

I understand Ray’s point, but not all of us are trying to serve anyone but ourselves.

Ok, but if you restart Cumulus MX on your computer, do you also not get these errors when you restart the program?

What logger are you using with the console?

Hello All,

Just to answer your question, I am using a Weather Link USB Data Logger.
If I restart Cumulus MX on the computer, I get none of these errors at all, when I restart the program.

Following my comments yesterday about an error in the MXdiags Logs.

The error, I have discovered, comes from something that Mark changed.
I left my Pc & Laptop on all night, which has not made any difference.

Thus; when there has NOT been any rain, the errors happen.

However, when it 'does' rain, those errors disappear. As you can see from the attached logs.

The conclusion is, that when Mark tried to fix the rain 'bug'!
In doing that, he has added this last 'bug' to the system.

The error does occur when there has been no rainfall, but not if rain has fallen in the current day.
