4.1.0 with Vantage Pro 2

I am using version 4.1.0 with a Davis Vantage Pro 2 and a WLL and it seems to be running perfectly (apart from the minor bug on the alternate dashboard interface I mentioned previously)

There are no errors in the log.

I did upgrade from 3 to 4 when 4 was in beta.

I have just seen the “do not use with a Vantage Pro 2” advice.

What errors am I likely to see?

As it seems to be running ok can I leave things as they are???

I just wish someone here would remove the file access so people don't download this version and then post issues with Davis stations and 4.1.0

Pointless doing that as it is freely available from Mark's GitHub, and is advertised there as the latest version. We're going to get these issues posted whatever we do on the forum - so best to leave it there with a health warning.

Version 4.1.0 is not bad, so I also see no reason to remove access to the file. I use it successfully with the Ecowitt station.
The problem is that some problems have been reported, e.g. for Davis station, and Mark (who reads the forum knows) is currently unable to fix them.
So, if someone wants to take the risk, let them install it. At most it will downgrade to 4.0.1.

I just wanted to try the new version to see what the errors are.

This is the error that I get on Cumulus V4.1.0 (b:4024), with a Davis Vantage PRO2 Console, with a Plus Daytime Far's Weather Station,
Using firmware version 3.88 on the console with a Weather Link USB Data Logger.

I have gone back to Cumulus MX 4.0.1 b4023. Which is working fine apart from these errors now and again:

I am not seeing that Rain counter reset in my installs, nor any other except warning on low battery. I have one CMX v4 b4024 with Vue console/WiFiLogger, another with WLL, and a 3rd with WL Cloud. VP2 plus with 24FARS.

I am up on V410B4024, too, without (visible) errors.

Computer: Mac mini M2 8GB
OS: MacOS Sonoma 14.5
Hardware: Davis VP2+ connected via WLL
Software: CMX V410B4024

Hello All,

I have retested the latest CumulusMX software. I have discovered that when I turn off my Laptop at night.
Then, when I turn the laptop back on the next day, these errors appear, see below.

The point is, that in not turning off the computer, the errors do not appear.
