I need some help here:
I ticked the box "Enable file copy of standard files" and give a path to where to upload, but nothing happens in this specified folder.
Maybe it's worth about some things to mention: I am using MacOS, CMX is running fine so far (on its built-in PWS-Simulator), I have done some lokalisation on the ai2-interface (template from n.thomas [courtesy ok for you?] - see attached screenshots).
So how can I do uploads of data to the internet or at least a local folder?
Thanks in advance,
Reinhard

Re: Uploading files
The path for a local copy is incorrect. It should be /CumulusMX/webfiles/, but I would query why you are copying the files locally to the directory where the webfiles are. If you going to use them locally I would put them in their own directory, i.e. /copyfiles. The /webfiles directory is part of the MX install directories and gets overwitten some times but not always.
If you are copying files to the internet the FTP client will need a path like /public_html/your weather directory or /htdocs/ your weather directory and the ftp address which is usually something like ftp. mydomain.com or ServerIPaddress.

Re: Uploading files
Is it possible that station type 17 (Simulator) doesn't upload to Local neither Internet? I built a folder in the folder CumulusMX and named it copyfiles but nothing happens at all - no files were "uploaded" herein. Any further advice?

Re: Uploading files
You need to specify the full path to the directory. From what I can see on the screen, CumulusMX is installed/located in a users home directory. Therefore the full path should be something like:
/home/username/CumulusMX/copyfiles
It could be that the filesystem layout on MacOS is not quite as I described above, but whatever the layout, it does appear that CumulusMX is in a subdirectory of some sort, not the root ('/') directory.
