CMX 4 Build 4024

From Cumulus MX version 3 build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since, and has recently released Cumulus MX version 4. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Installed on Windows 10 and using Ecowitt HP2551, working no problems.

I've installed it on the instance which doesn't run my website and so far it's OK. Will try the other instance later.

Now also running on Synology NAS and Windows 11, again no problems.

I see the installation notes for this version says not to install this if you have a Vantage Pro2.
I assume then that i wait until a newer version is released?

yes, mark stated not to install it on the Davis models. he is however away for a while viewtopic.php?t=22288

Not sure why the forum heading says the use of Version 4.1.0. Build 4024 is "not recommended" as I thought that only applied to David Stations.

Here since it's release on June 5th on Ecowitt HP2551, GW1000 and GW1100 running on Windows 10, 11 and a Synology NAS DS720+ I have had no errors at all and all 4 installs have had no errors.

Probably jinxing it but I thought it needed saying.

There's two issues with 4024. if you follow the link to the post the Davis issue is mentioned.

Agree freddie but for other weather stations it is fine, which is the point I was making.

Thanks freddie that is more like the situation, although the 4023 Migratedata3to4 version works correctly. Think Mark introduced the error when he tried to fix it for our Finnish users.
