Uncaught Reference cumulusutils.js

Post by philpugh »

@Hans

I have just replaced my Ecowitt HP10 camera with a Reolink 411W which became 'spare' recently. I was having issues with displaying the timelapse footage and I reloaded the page (whilst displaying the Meteocam page and noticed that some of the fields didn't refresh - checking the web console (F12) I get this message displayed :
Uncaught ReferenceError: UpdateWebCam is not defined
DoRealtime https://goosegate.uk/lib/cumulusutils.js:1
loadRealtimeTxt https://goosegate.uk/lib/cumulusutils.js:1
jQuery 4
c
fireWith
l
o
This appears to be a bug?

Also the image is not displayed in the original image format (16:9) - can this be acheived?

Cheers

Hi Phil,

T.b.h. I don't see the bug, I see a correctly displayed image.
So, afaiac : not an issue.

But how can you use a Reolink 411W as an HP10 camera for the Ecowitt site?
Are we talking about the same thing?

No I was replacing the HP10 with the 411W but I had forgotten that I needed to allow directory searches on my nginx web server. In the end it was simpler to use the HP10 directory for the images and timelapse videos. I’m still getting a problem doing the refresh (F5) whilst displaying the camera image. I’ll investigate further tomorrow.
