From Cumulus MX version 3 build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since, and has recently released Cumulus MX version 4. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).
Some of us like to be on the "bleeding edge" of technology!!
Seriously: if the bleeding edge of technology becomes the subject of threads on this forum, CumulusMX and the weather will 'snow under' and the transitIon to a pure tech forum is close. The version of dotnet is not so interesting (unless a major upgrade) and does not need attention. CMX and weather is and does.
Yet again missing the point. This is a FORUM where everybody is entitled to their views and do NOT have to conform to the "Law of HansR"!!
Bugger off @water01, there is no law and I am not telling whoever what to say.
It is YOU who is missing the point: I am merely saying what I think and writing my view on this subject.
Exactly what you say users should do.
I guessed as much, I was pulling your leg.
I don't upgrade my LTS hosts until the first point release comes out (July/August) and I get a prompt to upgrade. It's good that it is available should you wish to upgrade, and TBH there's usually not a lot of difference if you do it when it first is released compared to my (over?) cautious approach.
