I notice when my Vantage Pro2 console reads 98% Cumulus does post 100% humidity when the checkbox is checked.
However, I notice that when my Vantage Pro2 console reads 99% Cumulus does not post 100% when the checkbox is checked.
I just want to confirm that this is expected behavior. Does the "Use 100% for 98% humidity" checkbox apply for levels of 98% or higher or just 98%?

Just for 98%. It's for stations which have a max humidity of 98% (Oregon Scientific, in particular) rather than the VP2 which has a max of 100%. Which is pretty much what it says in the help.

I'm curious if anyone here has actually seen 100% with the VP2 unit?

I get 100% fairly frequently.

Yes, Even in dry Arizona, I've seen it a couple times at 100% with a major thunderstorm after several days of storms. It's rare around here...
We also get to see it down to 2% which is also somewhat rare. During the early summer it is not unusual to be under 10% for long periods of time.
