CU-MX Version : (4.0.0-b4022) CUWebtags Error

From Cumulus MX version 3 build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since, and has recently released Cumulus MX version 4. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Tony, was there anything in the apache logs when this happened?

i'm also curious as to this bit of code:

Code: Select all

            <b>Version Information:</b>&nbsp;Microsoft .NET Framework Version:4.0.30319; ASP.NET Version:4.8.4718.0
when you're running cmx v4

It's because the error message from WOW contained multi-line HTML code with embedded quoted strings.

I have no control over what third parties are going to send back as the error message, so the PHP code needs to be able to cope with that.

Putting the error message in simple quotes is not going to cut it in this instance.

Rather than...

Code: Select all

$CU_LatestError = "<#LatestError>",
It would need something like...

Code: Select all

$CU_LatestError = <<<EOT
<#LatestError>
EOT;
Completely untested!

Hi,
Thanks guys, As I only display the errors on one page I elected to omit it from that particular file.
Appreciate the Feedback,

I got a similar issue running the Cumulus multingual website that uses their CUtags.php

I needed to omit the following lines in php script.

//$LatestError = '<#LatestError>';
//$LatestErrorDate = '<#LatestErrorDate>';
//$LatestErrorEnc = '<#LatestErrorEnc>';
//$LatestErrorJsEnc = '<#LatestErrorJsEnc>';
//$LatestErrorTime = '<#LatestErrorTime>';

in the error CMX 4.0 sends also a path like C:/CumulusMX/ etc , ere the php script errors on the unknown identifier 'C'....
