From Cumulus MX version 3 build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since, and has recently released Cumulus MX version 4. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

I just checked and the Third-Party uploads screen is already configured to prevent a value of zero being entered. Did you edit the Cumulus.ini file yourself?
That seemed to fix it. Thank you!
No I didn't edit myself. At on time I did run WeatherUndergroud from CumulusMX. I no longer do now.
I could have written that myself (even including the results of "dotnet-info" that you quote)! I'm in the exact same position that you are and don't know where to go from here.
So I solved the upgrade and I'm running v4 on my Libre Computer with Raspberry Pi os.
I also have managed to get v4 working on my pi4. It took a lot of time and effort with my lack of Linux skills but after deciding to start again, install the pi operating system and Cumulus MX on an SSD, and learn how to boot from SSD I've eventually got it working.
My outstanding issue (which you refer to) is I can't fathom out how to run v4 as a service.
I see you mentioned that you were struggling with that as well. My v3, for which I used the Cumulusmx image, seemed somehow to run as a service from the word go.
I have seen that Mark recommends running as a service and would be very grateful if someone could advise me how to do this. I've spent a good few hours on this already but with no joy.
Thanks for your continued help Mark. Unfortunatley I'm still struggling when trying to set up v4 as a service. I've changed the path to CumulusMX as you advised and now get the error attached.

I've just noticed a typo in my command line Mark. I had entered .... -install kenke instead of ..... -install -kenke ie I missed out the hypen before kenke. I've tried again using the hypen this time but the error is virtually the same. It is: Invalid command line argument "-kenke"
I remember well how much you did for me to get my first ever venture into raspberry pi working back in January. All went very well until I dared to try and upgrade to v4. However after many hours and much reading and failure the only thing I had left to do was to get v4 running as a service.
I can't believe it but you've come to the rescue again. Your suggestion fixed it. That was all it was. Funnily enough I was convinced I'd tried: -user kenke but presumably with my brain having been so scrambled I'd intended to but hadn't.
Anyway the main thing is that I'm delighted to have everything working again (even on an SSD as I really didn't fancy having a failed SD card upset everything) and I owe you a massive thanks again.
Good afternoon everyone. I'm not going to open a new thread with my problem, since it is the same. Summary: I can't get the new version to work. I follow the steps scrupulously but I can't. Let's see if someone could help me. Thank you so much.

Disable FTP logging and restart - There is a bug in the logger code which is new for v4.
If you need FTP logging switch it on after starting MX and switch it off again before you close MX down.
