The following issues have been identified and will be resolved in future releases
  • If you use Ecowitt Extra Sensors with a main station like a Davis, then there is currently no backfill of the extra sensor data during catch-up.

These issues now resolved:
  • The spike removal for outdoor temperature is not working correctly. A workaround is to set your temperature spike value to 999 - Fixed in v4.0.1
  • The Davis Cloud Station (VP2), is often not decoding the dew point correctly, and the indoor temp/humidity are missing - Fixed in v4.0.1
  • FTP logging causes an error if it is enabled when you start MX.
Workaround: Disable FTP logging and restart MX. If you need an FTP log, enable logging after you start MX, and stop it again before you shutdown. - Fixed in 4.1.0
  • Wunderground Rapid Fire logs too many errors! - Fixed in 4.1.0
  • Realtime PHP logs too many errors when a single problem occurs - Fixed in 4.1.0
  • If a Davis VP2 console is power cycled, the rain accrued since midnight is lost. - Fixed in 4.1.1
  • JSON Station - Input wind speeds in knots are not currently implemented - Fixed in 4.1.2
  • The latest MigrateData3to4 fails to migrate the day file if your wind speed (gust not average) uses decimal values - Fixed in 2.0.1
  • v4.1.0 - Davis VP2 stations using TCP connections display an error in the station settings. As a workaround until a root cause fix available, you can use the modified JSON files in this post - Fixed in 4.1.2
