Reports not uploading

My Monthly and Annual reports are not uploading. I have updated this manually but cannot find out why it is not happening automatically. Any help would be appreciated. I have included my MxDiags file in zip format.

This MXDiags is not much use as it does not include the midnight rollover when the reports would be uploaded.

So Check

NOAA Settings > Enable Reports: Create NOAA files after daily rollover is ticked.

Upload Options > Auto upload is ticked and the upload directory is filled out.

You might also want to check the other options in NOAA Settings.

Hi,
As David says, check your NOAA settings. Especially your Upload folder: path. Looks like you are using PHP upload so for path it likely should be just: Reports

Enjoy,
Paul

I do not seem to be having much luck correcting this error. In desperation I have attached a copy of my ini file (without login details) in the hope that the problem might be found there and a solution provided.

Hi,
Your Cumulus.ini gives a hint... and sorry for the long reply.
Your FTP uploads setting:

Code: Select all

Directory=/domains/redanweather.com/public_html/
Sslftp=3
Your NOAA upload settings:

Code: Select all

FTPDirectory=/domains/redanweather.com/public_html/Reports
Your upload settings as: Sslftp=3 indicates you are using PHP upload, is that correct?

With PHP upload the remote path does not need the root folder name if the Reports folder resides in the same place as your upload.php - i.e. not public_html/Reports but just Reports. This is my settings with CMX using Upload Protocol to use: 3 - Use PHP upload

Code: Select all

Upload Options
Auto Upload NOAA report files
 Enabling this means your NOAA reports will be uploaded to the folder below after they are created during the daily rollover
Upload folder: Reports
 You can specify a different folder from the default upload folder if you wish to upload the reports to a different location Leaving this blank will mean the reports are placed in the location specified in the main Internet Settings upload folder Paths entered here are relative to: the FTP root folder when using FTP, or the location of the upload.php file when using PHP upload
This is my settings with another CMX install using Upload Protocol to use: 0 - FTP (Plain old FTP)

Code: Select all

Upload Options
Auto Upload NOAA report files
 Enabling this means your NOAA reports will be uploaded to the folder below after they are created during the daily rollover
Upload folder: public_html/cumulusmxwll/Reports
 You can specify a different folder from the default upload folder if you wish to upload the reports to a different location Leaving this blank will mean the reports are placed in the location specified in the main Internet Settings upload folder Paths entered here are relative to: the FTP root folder when using FTP, or the location of the upload.php file when using PHP upload
So change your NOAA settings > Upload folder to just: Records
Correction: So change your NOAA settings > Upload folder to just: Reports

Enjoy,
Paul

So change your NOAA settings > Upload folder to just: Records
I think Paul means Reports.

Yes "Reports", thanks David. That is what happens when you do a quick long post late at night before going to bed without first proofreading :bash:

Enjoy,
Paul

Hi,
Great... one of the things to be aware of when changing between FTP and PHP uploads is the path for NOAA reports and any Extra web files added for upload.

Enjoy,
Paul
