Got a highcharts license after asking for it via https://shop.highcharts.com/contact/personal

After a maybe a couple of days they confirmed a Personal License.

Yes, but
Remember, a Personal License does not renew automatically, and you will need to apply for a new license at the end of your current license term to keep using Highcharts in your personal projects.
Enjoy,
Paul

My thinkings about that: Not much is ever lasting, so I will renew it when the time comes. And when they begin to charge for a license I have the choice to remove all Highcharts from my weather site or accept the charge fee. And - as every developer - I think they too have done their work, and if they want small (SMALL) money, I will pay them.

Aside of this: Is there a possibility to donate to Mark somewhere?

So far,

So, after reading this here, I decided to apply for a personal licence. Just got the following from them:

Thanks for showing interest in Highcharts.
Could you please share some more information about your project? Is it only for personal use, or will other people have access to your solution?
This information will help me ensure that we set you up with the correct Highcharts License.
Looking forward to hear more about your project.

Anyone else get asked the same.

Yes and I replied that I run a website which contains data from my weather station and is purely a hobby for personal use and they granted me a licence. Note I also have the Highcharts attribute showing on all charts.
Hello Helga,

If you look at www.dmjsystems.co.uk/weatherbos/index.php this my weather website and I use Highcharts to produce graphs on various pages. All pages have the Highcharts attribute to say they are produced by using highcharts an produce graphs of my weather data from my weatherstation.
Regards
David Jordan.

I've been trying to find a replacement for Highcharts to use on my website, which is a slightly modified version of the default website. So far, Chart.js seems to be the easiest in terms of getting something vaguely resembling the Highcharts graphs, although there are currently a significant number of issues that need working out.

In case anyone is interested, you can see the current progress at https://weather.lakurdina.com/raheen/ch ... trends.htm
