Display of rainfall total with calibration factor.

Post by dc1500 »

I seem to have a displayed value of 4.5mm for yesterday's rainfall but it is showing 3.4 in the dayfile and the octlog file. As I have a multiplier on rain value of 0.75 the file values would seem corrected but not the display.
Also should the monthly total be the addition of the dayfile values only mine is much lower than this. Possibly stuck since an upgrade?

I wish I hadn't done the calibration thing at all, to be honest. Is it just the 'yesterday' display that's wrong? If so, that shouldn't be too hard to put right.

The monthly total is calculated using the daily totals in dayfile.txt, yes. If you'd like to send me your dayfile.txt, I'll have a look.

Don't get rid of the feature - I think it's potentially very useful! Am sending relevant files.
