Due to a Hard disk problem I have had to use a 2 year old backup disk and obviously the data is a bit out of date. If it is possible I want to edit this months rainfall, and also this years rainfall.
Can it be done and how

MX calculates the month and annual rainfall from the dayfile. You need to correct the daily records with issues, then the rest should be OK.

Ok thanks, but I have looked to see where I can edit the dayfile. I looked under 'Edit' but can only see 'Todays rain'
Where will I find the day file.

You will find it under Data Logs > Dayfile.

Thanks , found it and edited 2 day rain.
Can the rain this year and rain this month be also edited the same way?

Yes. Make the changes in the Dayfile and then either restart Cumulus or under Utilities reload the Dayfile. You should then see the adjusted rainfall in your totals.

Ok, I'm either blind or the entry for Rain This year is not there
I can't do it in Extra data log viewer/editor because the data for January and upto February 29th is not there.
Thanks

Ye I see what you are saying but as i said earlier, because of a failed hard disk I lost the data upto Thursay 29th February, so it is not showing in the current setup I have now, ie the cloned disk from 2 years ago. So 2 years of data re now missing on the new or other hard disk.
Another poster said it could be done.
I can see where it says Total rainfall, but that is daily, and so as it calculates the monthly and yearly from the dayfile, then those figures I have cannot be added or edited.
Thanks

You can set This Year's rainfall in Settings > Station Settings > Annual Rainfall
There is no way to set This Month's rainfall though.
