Welcome to the Cumulus Support forum.

Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024

(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended - particularly for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)

Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024

Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

Admin Console Select-a-Period Chart - Humidex Not Displaying

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Admin Console Select-a-Period Chart - Humidex Not Displaying

Post by Grouper »

Hi all,
Firstly I must say that the recent addition of the "Select-a-Period" chart is a great new feature and something that I thought was previously lacking in CMX. Many thanks for the continued development of CMX.

One minor observation I encountered whilst doing some datafixes after my Ecowitt outdoor sensor went AWOL during one of the recent storms is that Humidex doesn't seem to display on the graph. When you select it in the dropdown the dropdown selector goes blank and it isn't added to the chart display. See attached screen clips.

There are Humidex temperatures in the monthly log file.

CMX 3.28.3 b3280
Cheers,
Dave

It seems that there is no code for Humidex in the chartsperiod.js file and that is why it does not draw (me too).

I guess Mark would have to add a few lines in the meantime :D .

Thanks Mark, I tried replacing the file in the interface/js folder with the new one but it didn't seem to help. I tried refreshing the browser but do I need to restart Cumulus ?

@Grouper

After major changes to CMX files, it is always worth running the program again.

@Mark

Thanks for the patch. Problem solved.

You probably need to clear the browser cache for the CMX site - or Ctrl-F5
