Since Cumulus already calculates mean monthly temperature and mean annual temperature and includes this information in NOAA reports, could it create web tags from this data to include climate information about mean temp the current month and year on its website?
An anomaly (deviation from the average) is also calculated for each month and year. I would also like to see monthly and yearly webtags here, if there was such a possibility.

Re: Mean temp
The means would be doable, the deviations depend on the user setting the means in the NOAA setting, not everybody will do that so the tag values could be misleading.

Re: Mean temp
I don't know if you noticed, but the v4 beta has some mean temperature web tags....
Code: Select all
- Adds new web tags for temperature means
<#ByMonthTempAvg mon=[1-12]> Mean for requested month over the entire history. Omit the mon parameter for the current month
<#MonthTempAvg m=[1-12] y=[YYYY]> Mean for the requested specific month. Omit the parameters for the current month
<#YearTempAvg y=[YYYY]> Mean for the requested year. Omit the y parameter for the current year
