Sorting dayfile and monthly log files

Post by PaulMy »

I am trying to help another user who has some serious data issues including date out of sequence. I was able, using Excel, to sort by date and that ended with tab delineated and can't seem to get the file back to comma delineated and .txt format. Any suggestions?

Enjoy,
Paul

I would assume that you have got a csv file with a filetype .csv, if so just rename it to .txt - I think that would work.

If I understood your problem correctly (wrong separator), maybe the following link helps. Also not the tools-dropdown on the save as-dialog, it might have some options if I remember correctly.

Edit. This also is related. https://www.ablebits.com/office-addins- ... delimiter/
