Running On A Mac Mini M2

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Running On A Mac Mini M2

Post by The Dalek Hunter »

Not a problem just a question!

I have now got all three instances of my CumulusMX running perfectly on a brand spanking new Mac Mini M2!

When I was running them on a Raspberry Pi there was the potential problem of memory leaks.

As I backed up my data each night via a cron job stopping and then restarting CMX to do so I never seemed to have a problem.

Now on the Mac CMX just runs 24/7

The question is does Mono on MacOs suffer memory leak problems and I need to schedule a reboot now and again?

A year ago I ran CMX on a Macbook air and never noticed a memory leak problem.

Now I am running CMX on 2 different Raspberry PI ( 3 and 4), and I do not have memory leaks problem with them neither.

The leaks only happen with certain stations and upload options. I don't get them on my rPis either.
