Formate of Station ID

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Formate of Station ID

Post by Prospect »

Hi All
New user of CMX (been running C Mk1 for years with Fine Weather Offset) now using a Weatherflow Tempest, set up yesterday and the MX dashboard looks to be displaying data from the Tempest correctly but the CumulusMX.exe I get this in red

Error downloading tempest history: {"status":{"status_code":404,"status_message":"NOT FOUND"}}
Normally indicates incorrect Device ID
No history data to process
Normal running

I have inputted the station ID in the settings i.e. xxxxxx in the Device ID field in station settings.

Regards

Craig

As far as I know it's just a number, looks like they are 6 digits long now. I think you can get it from the Tempest Map, or is that the Station Id?

What do you think yours is?

OK, the map seems to work on the station id, but if you open a station from there, then click on the green "online" indicator, it gives you more information including the device id.
