I think we need to park this for now - the Davis Cloud station is undergoing significant changes for the next release. The current implementation contains significant shortcomings.
I am currently testing a revised version and it is working as I originally intended.
@gw73 I'd really like to test it against a VP2 station (I only have a WLL on wl.com), if you are willing would you Private Message me your API key and secret? I can then use my debugger to pull your data and make sure it works correctly.

Build 3280 cured my problems. It took a while for me to figure out how to upgrade, but I finally figured it out. Thanks fro your help!
