Welcome to the Cumulus Support forum.

Latest Cumulus MX V4 release 4.0.1 (build 4023) - 16 May 2024

(Note that 4.1.0 (build 4024) - 05 June 2024 remains available, but usage of this version is not recommended for Davis stations - and the included utility in this distribution for migrating to v4 is known to contain errors affecting conversion of dayfile.txt)

Latest Cumulus MX V3 release 3.28.6 (build 3283) - 21 March 2024

Legacy Cumulus 1 release 1.9.4 (build 1099) - 28 November 2014
(a patch is available for 1.9.4 build 1099 that extends the date range of drop-down menus to 2030)

No pressure of indoor temp

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

No pressure of indoor temp

Post by gw73 »

Im new with Cumulus and I am having a few problems. I have a vantage pro 2 ISS connected to a weather link console. I am using Cumuls mx release 3.28 build 3278 on a Windows 10 machine. I am geting most of my data except my Pressure and Indoor temp. I am getting the error:
Realtime[0] Not all data is ready, aborting process.
Minimum data set of pressure, temperature, and wind is not available and NoSensorCheck is not enabled. Skip Processing.
I have also attached the last Diagnostics log file.

Thanks

A quick way round this to set MX to NOT check the sensors. Settings > Station Settings> Common Options > Sensor Check tick it so it does not check for a minimum set of data.

Doesn't solve your problem but together with Data Logging and Debug Logging it may help you to find what the problem is.

You have selected the station type as "Davis WeatherLink Cloud (VP2)", but you have a WLC.
You need to select the station type "Davis WeatherLink Cloud (WLL/WLC)"

Thanks for the answers. I've tried both suggestions and will let it run for a while. An error I'm getting now is LoadDayFile: No Dayfile found -No entries added to recen daily data list.

Hi,
Can you confirm which is your station?
https://www.weatherlink.com/bulletin/44 ... 835c6f133d This does not show barometer
https://www.weatherlink.com/bulletin/10 ... 198a1a7e4e This shows barometer
https://www.weatherlink.com/bulletin/43 ... da731e5985 This shows barometer
If it is the first one then your WLC does not appear to be sending pressure and you may need to go through the settings.

The pressure, indoor humidity, and indoor temperature come from your WLC, and all the outdoor data comes from your ISS which the WLC receives and uploads to Weatherlink.com.

The dayfile is updated at the end of day. I am not 100% sure if it is created immediately with a new CumulusMX install or only after the end that first day.

You appear to have a Pro account at Weatherlink.com, is that correct?

Enjoy,
Paul

Thanks for the response.Yes, I have a pro account. The Third link is my new WLC I will go through the settings. The others belong to my old vantage vue console. I cannot find a way to remove it, I have emailed Davis support, but so far no reply. and Im wondering if it is part of the problem. I am still using it on the same computer with Weatherlink 6.0.3.
The dayfile appears to have been created and I can see it. I am getting another error. Ive attached it as well as diagnostic log. The error is trying to copy an image and file to a destination that doesn't exist. I assume Cumulos got it when I was installing, but I have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times and maybe something got confused.

Thanks

No, having additional stations on WL.com should not have any affect at all as each.
I am getting another error. Ive attached it as well as diagnostic log.
I don't see a new attachment...

Enjoy,

Hi,
I've lost track if there is still an inside temp and humidity issue, but looking at the log file
I am getting another error. Ive attached it as well as diagnostic log. The error is trying to copy an image and file to a destination that doesn't exist. I assume Cumulos got it when I was installing, but I have uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times and maybe something got confused.
I presume you have ticked Moon Image > Generate moon image > Copy file: [ x ] and then entered the Copy destination folder. From this error it looks like there is an error in the copy path:

Code: Select all

2024-01-16 15:15:00.449 LocalCopy: Copying Moon image file to C:\Users\Gary\Documents\Cumulus downloads\images\moon.png
2024-01-16 15:15:00.451 LocalCopy: Error copying moon image - Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Users\Gary\Documents\Cumulus downloads\images\moon.png'.
2024-01-16 15:15:00.451 LocalCopy: Copy process complete
For mine I have it as C:\KomokaWeather\CumulusMX\web-copy_json\images\moon.png and this works. Check yours to make sure it is correct. It appears that you may have a space in your path and possibly that is causing the error.

Enjoy,
Paul

Hi,
This may be for Mark to have a more detailed look, but wonder... you are using the Cloud station and CMX gets the data from the Cloud?!?, and I recall reading that some sites have restriction or have an option on displaying inside temp and humidity. Your WL.com site doesn't show inside temp/humidity but does show barometer so this thought is debunked...

Enjoy,
Paul

Hi
My WL.com does have indoor humidity and temp. I attached a screenshot. This problem has me stumped.

Hi,
I need my eyes checked...
What do you have selected for Settings:
Display Options > Data Visibility > Temperature Data > Indoor Temperature?
and for Humidity Data > Indoor Humidity?

Enjoy,
