is the WLL reporting to weatherlink.com ok?

have you tried restarting cumulusmx? maybe turn on debugging and data logging, run again for a while, then post the mxdiag file.

Well, the error implies the MX found the WLL on the network, tried to connect, but the WLL refused the connection for some reason of its own!

old post I know but are you still getting these errors dazza??

I've started to get them now. once or twice a day. rebooted CumulusMX. just swaped out the eithernet cable and changed switchports on my 8 port switch just incase them is any issues there.

Code: Select all

2024-08-04 14:17:01.078 Wunderground: Successful upload

debug is currently on and has been for a few weeks now. load on the cumulusmx is very low so nothing on cmx end. just curious as if anyone else is having the same issues now?

as soon as this error is reported, cmx is still talking to the WLL so not sure why the connection is refused just once in a while.

I suspect that the odd one is when the WLL is "busy" doing something else. Maybe the upward connection to wl.com is slow or having transient errors?

yeah I have checked the port for errors on the unifi switch and no issues there. swapped out the cable and used a different switchport.

I am though going to re-route the cabling since I have a switch thats in the network route that maybe causing issues with bandwidth. it is a strnge error though since its only just started
