Connecting cumulusMX to aprs using a (wxnow.txt) file

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Connecting cumulusMX to aprs using a (wxnow.txt) file

Post by zad112 »

So i'm lost here and looking for some help. The old cumulus had a file created called wxnow.txt which could interface with my aprs software. however cumulusmx from what I have ascertained does not create this file, and has no easy way to create it. I tried making a custom log file but it would not phrase with my software aprsice32. Just looking for some advice on how to get around this. Thank you for any and all advice.
