@Andy: I have been looking a bit more in depth to what this issue is about and decided not to make software changes but instead make a clear warning in the Wiki under IMPORTANT. Because there is no (signalling) relation between CMX and CUtils, it is impossible to make a 100% correct relation for the CustomLogs definition in CMX and CUtils. And after all: CUtils is configuration and not a realtime change tool so handling the CustomLogs changes is dealt with by running CUtils, which is precisely within the design goals.

I like the "Important" health warning in the Wiki, I think that it covers the issues I had over the past few days.

My customlog charts are all working as expected now and having cleaned up the data files for the repeated restarts of the customlogs all seems to be clean and easy to view.

Great. And in addition: mixed frequencies do work and should not pose a problem, all datapoints simply appear in the chart. So cleaning up datafile from now on should not be required anymore.
