I don't use WiFi.
The 10 min peak gust didn't change at all. It's not the app, it's the data coming from the WLL.
It becomes an issue when there's frequent strong winds, where the 10 min peak gust changes quickly. As Mark mentioned, it's stale data.

Still have this problem. Had a 43mph gust at around 18:54 but the 10 minute peak gust said 38mph.

At the moment, MX only updates the missed gust value if it exceeds the daily high so far today.
So you will not miss daily highs, but gusts less than that may be missed if the broadcasts are not being reliable received.
