No RFeports being produced.

Post by Albert Dulfer »

I noticed that my Monthly Reports and Annual Report ceased to function on September 10. I do not know why. I have enclosed my latest MXdiags file if this is any help. If anyone can assist, I would be grateful.

Hi,
The log file does not cover the period of daily rollover so nothing in it on NOAA reports. However, check your station settings station start date as a while back Mark made some changes and that requires the start date in a specific format
Station settings > Advanced Options =

Code: Select all

Advanced Options
Here be dragons! Only alter these settings if you understand what they do.

Records Began Date
2008-10-27
IMPORTANT: You MUST keep the date format YYYY-MM-DD. This is the 'Date of birth' for your Cumulus install, it defaults to the first time you run the program. You may need to alter this if for instance you import historic data in Cumulus from another source, in that case set it to the first date of your imported data.
If that is not it then zip up and attach the MXdiags file that covers your daily rollover period - i.e. midnight or 9:00 am?

Enjoy,
Paul

Start date is already in the correct format. Still no solution.

You need to do as Paul requested, and supply a MXdiags file that spans your end-of-day period. Then we will have an idea of what has gone wrong, and potentially a solution.

The log shows that the upload of the year report to your web server is failing...

Code: Select all

2023-10-04 10:00:05.917 PHP[Int]: Upload to /Reports/NOAAYR2023.txt: Response code = 500: InternalServerError
2023-10-04 10:00:05.917 PHP[Int]: Upload to /Reports/NOAAYR2023.txt: Response text follows:
Error: Cannot create the target file /Reports/NOAAYR2023.txt with this user u638475922
It looks like a permissions issue on your server, hopefully someone else can help you look into this.

Hi,
I don't know anything about permissions but looks like you are now using PHP for updates and possibly your NOAA settings > Upload Options > Upload folder is incorrect. Likely should be just Reports when using PHP upload.

Enjoy,
Paul

Thank you for the help.

Yes, Reports folder was incorrectly named. Changed this and all is well again.

Great to know such support is available and that people are willing to help.
