It's because you're using a very old version of Cumulus which doesn't put the forecast number into realtime.txt.Areco747 wrote:Why is not forecast in my "Weatherconsole" http://www.arecoclima.com.ar/console/wconsole.html

Re: New addon: Live data on the web
A bit late finding the console, must have missed it along the way. Now installed and working very well, tks
Any plans to add any extra bits sections the more the merrier, thinking of solar and comms with VP. The weather console to me is far more reliable than the VP Live console, especially for my use on a different PC at work etc I can keep tabs on my data without ever changing port number etc.
Good stuff and looking forward to a possible update.

Paul C,
You can always update or re-write the console yourself as I have done at http://www.synewave.co.uk/lehamelweather/wconsole.php?
Best veiwed from http://www.synewave.co.uk/lehamelweather first then select Console from the menu to get the intended screen size.

Re: New addon: Live data on the web
Excellent idea by Tzouhalem to include the Cumulus Weather Console "rain today" and "rain this month". http://96.54.8.240/cumulus/wconsole.php
Daj: you can make an update for original script with this idea?
Many Thanks,
Mauricio

Re: New addon: Live data on the web
It appears many people have customised the console themselves, or used it as the basis for new ideas.
It's certainly easy enough for me to add more data to the 'stock' version. Anyone else interested is additions to the stock version? Let me know what else you want added.....

I heavily customized (well added lots to) your script and use it as the basis to make all of my Cumulus pages realtime.daj wrote:It appears many people have customised the console themselves, or used it as the basis for new ideas.
Just want to take this opportunity to thank you again for the console script which has allowed me to become familiar with javascript.

I'm glad you found it useful Paul -- it was a simple example to demonstrate some ideas which people could take forward.

Re: New addon: Live data on the web
I'll send you a PM over the weekend. Not that my code is 'private' (it was copied and developed from someone else). I just don't want to make ot public yet as it needs a few tweaks to make it work for you. Are you OK in makeing a few code changes for your setup before I send anything?

Re: New addon: Live data on the web
From your wconsole.js:
No it isn't - you are on the web.
You just need:
Code: Select all
var realtime_location ="C:\Cumulus\realtime.txt";You just need:
Code: Select all
var realtime_location ="realtime.txt";......................Imagine, what you will KNOW tomorrow !
