ECOWITT WS2910 DATA ERROR

Help please.
Firstly I hope i am in the correct forum, if not please re-direct me :)

Current CMX version is 3.26.0 build 3248. I have used Cumulus x for many years and I was on my second Maplin Station, N96GY being the latest. Sadly after many years of use the wind direction sensor stopped playing, so as I know from past experience this was probably the beginning of the end, so it's retirement loomed.

I have now a Ecowitt WS2910 running EasyWeather Pro, i know it comes in many guises. I can connect over WiFi through the App and CMX will talk to it both over HTTP and API... For a bit, usually seconds, then the station refuses to send data and in the front end the update from station does not update, thereby, the red warning on the front end console is on. This happens on both my desktop PC and also on my RPi3B, which has both the latest version of Buster and CMX. I thought the Pi was the problem (and i tried the standalone headless too but still the same), hence the Windoze install but that was the same. Furthermore my website is not being updated with weather data either.

The Maplin station with the same CMX version works faultlessly. I have played with the settings and .ini files for the WS2910, but to no avail, it has to be something i have configured incorrectly. HELP! Files attached.
cmx error.7z
Thanks!

The 2910 console does not support the local API interface, it must be configured as a HTTP (Ecowitt) station.

Hi Mark.
Thanks for the reply. I was using the HTTP protocol but still had this odd problem,CMX not acknowledging the configuration of either my Pi or the the desktop PC, hence trying API. This repeatedly appeared in the MXdiag files after a restart.
Checking Ecowitt Gateway Custom Server configuration.
Error opening TCP port: Connection refused
This Cumulus MX instance is running the latest version
Error opening TCP port: Connection refused - etc
Schoolboy error conflict with IP addresses on my gateway. All sorted now and running faultlessly on the Pi. Memo to self, check and check again settings :groan:
Thanks for your time and all the work put into CMX, Jim
