WLL Batteries

I noticed last week that the batteries in my WLL were draining fast, and I got the 'battery back up voltage low' message in the diags.
I replaced the batteries with 4 brand new ones and I am still getting the message:
2023-09-01 21:01:05.884 WLL WARNING: Backup battery voltage is low = 5.27V
Not only that, the batteries were at 5.4V when I installed them 3 days ago. They seem to be losing voltage quickly?!

Sounds like you might have a bad battery. When you put in four new batteries the voltage should have been around 6 volts (4 x 1.5 volts). Do you have a multimeter to test the individual battery voltages?

As a thought I use the Duracel Procell battery range and seem to get a long life out of them. Easily available on Amazon.

Usually when the start voltage of a new battery is too low it has been on the shelf too long.
Notify your supplier and claim your money back (which you most likely won't get

).
