CreateMissing - Dayfile [SOLVED]

I deleted last 4 days of my Dayfile rows by accident. Weather Data is in the Aug2023 file

I am trying to run the CreateMissing but in the command prompt its not recognizing it. In the past I was able to Open Command Prompt, Type Cd \CumulusMx, then type CreateMissing.exe and it would work but its saying "The system cannot find the path specified" now.

The CreateMissing folder is in the same folder as the CumulusMX.exe

Any ideas?

Thanks

Creatmissing.exe should be in the same directory as CumulusMx.exe. Sounds like you have in the wrong directory.

Doesn't Directory mean Folder? This is where its at.

Yes but you said the CreateMissing folder was in the same folder as CumulusMX.exe, which implied that the exe files were in different folders.

You cannot do it that way you need to go to the root of the C drive and then direct it to the correct directory.

So assuming you are in C:\Users\weban as indicated in the Command prompt window you posted do the following :-

Cd ../..
Cd \Program Files (X86)

Check you are there

Then
Cd \CumulusMX

Then you should be able to run the .exe by typing CreateMissing.exe

Hi,
Not a good idea to have CumulusMX in Program Files (x86). Better in C:\

To run CreateMissing just double click on the \CumulusMX\CreateMissing.exe

Enjoy,
Paul

I think your problem was that you were missing a space between the CD command and the directory.

You used: CD\CumulusMX
It should be: CD \CumulusMX
