NOAA problem

Hi All,

I am running the 1.9.4 build and I am missing 2014-11 to 2015-03 in the NOAA Annual and Monthly Report.
There must be an index key that is out of whack. Any place I should look in the NOAA Annual Report driver file.
Looking at the 1-minute data with Notepad++ shows nothing odd.
Yes, I am very old and started with punch cards on an IBM 1130 in the late 1960s....
Any help appreciated.

Phil

Can you select the missing months in the Cumulus View tab > NOAA Monthly and Annual Reports and then Update Display, and are they then still missing?
Have you looked at the monthly log files of those missing months through the Cumulus View tab > Data Logs and is that data all displayed in valid format?

Yes, I am very old and started with punch cards on an IBM 1130 in the late 1960s....
And it was fun to see them fly through that machine.

Enjoy,
Paul

PaulMy,

Here are the monthly and annual NOAA reports for November 2014 and the Annual for 2014.
There is a gremlin loose in one of the datasets that seek the data. Maybe an .ini out of whack.

Thank you,
Phil

Hi Phil,
I presume the Cumulus1 and CumulusMX NOAA reports generating are basically the same (but I recall Mark has added some setting options in current CMX over the past while) so Mark may have some ideas.

I don't know the source for the end of day (Cumulus1 and CumulusMX) and (Re)Generate (CumulusMX) of the reports but the monthly log files are likely key. Only suggestion I have is to thoroughly check the monthly log files for November 2014 through March 2015 for any missing and incorrect format data elements. They can be hard to identify and in the past I have identified some by copying a good data line in Notepad++ and below that copying lines with possible incorrect data/format and compare them.

Since Cumulus1 does not have a built-in (Re)Generate I don't know if it is possible to recreate the NOAA report files. I though perhaps the Cumulus1 View and Update Display might do that.

Enjoy,
Paul
