Release 3.25.2- build 3245

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Release 3.25.2- build 3245

Post by thief2 »

Hi Guys!

I have recently tried to upgrade to this release ( latest).

Update seemed to go ok, but I do not get my web files updated or passed to my webserver.
There are Json's that get updated , but not the htm's.

The previous ini file settings have gone ok, as I reviewed these in the admin interface.

Is there still an send standard files option in this release, as I cannot seem to find it?

Looking forward to your reply.

Hi Freddie!

Quite an old build of 3.9.3 Build 3098.

I know its a big jump but will this cause a problem?

How would I do this otherwise?

Hi,
The change to the .json data updates was made in v3.10.0

Code: Select all

3.10.0 - b3115
——————————————

- New: Brand new default web site template courtesy of Neil Thomas. The original "legacy" web site is still included, but it has been moved to the /webfiles-legacy folder.
	- The new web site is now data file driven as opposed to all pages being processed and uploaded. The legacy web site has also been updated to use this method.
The former \CumulusMX\web\xxxxT.htm files are replaced with fixed xxxx.htm files in the \CumulusMX\webfiles folder and need to be uploaded to your website along with all the other files and folders in the \CumulusMX\webfiles
These new website xxxx.htm files like index.htm use the data from the new uploaded xxxx.json files.

If you were using the default Cumulus webfiles and did not make modification to them then pretty straightforward. If you have made modification then you would need to do that in the \webfiles xxxx.htm files https://www.cumuluswiki.org/a/New_Defau ... _new_users

You will want to go through each of the Dashboard Internet settings to set them to your liking.

Enjoy,
Paul
