Settings menu issue

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Settings menu issue

Post by thegasman »

Hi,

I have just installed the latest Pi image on a freshly formatted SD card to run the latest version of CMX on my Pi 2B. The weather station is an Ecowitt GW1103.

I have used the Config Wizard to set it up and am receiving data succesfully.

I'm getting an issue with the Settings menu though.
Neither Station settings nor Internet settings are opening properly - I just get a blank page with a Heading. Additionally trying to open Station settings messes up the Settings drop down menu - most of the options disappear from the drop down.

Any ideas?

  1. Seems to me you missed some files during installation, notably from the interface.
  2. But I did have this issue myself when opening CMX on my tablet. Are you?
  3. Try another browser though this seems to be Chrome which should be OK.

Hi Hans,

Thanks for the ideas.
I installed from the image, so there shouldn't be any missing files unless they are missing from the image.

But you are right about the browser. I've just tried on Edge on my PC and on my tablet, and it all works as expected. It seems to be an issue with Chrome desktop version.
