how to adjust raincounter when importing legacy data

the following scenario:
- CMX build 3244 installed/started at 20-May-2023 with an Ecowitt GW2000 - raincounter set = 0
- legacy data from a NetAtmo station existing for the year 2023 (before 20-May-2023)
- created monthly log files (Jan23log.txt thru Mai2023log.txt (locale = DE, hence Mai instead of May) from the NetAtmo export files (semi-)
manually (using a self-created Excel monthly log file template with 8.928 5-minute interval entries; 12 x 24 x 31 = 8.928 - saved as CSV creates the/a CMX readable MonYYlog.txt file))
No rain from 20-May - 31-May-2023 (log file entries created by CMX added to Mai23log.txt (respectively 1-19 May))
Rainfall values for Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr and 1-19 May are only daily "rainfall so far" entries in the 5-minute records - no raincounter from NetAtmo export

questions:
is there any tool which will not only create the missing dayfile.txt entries (that's CreateMissing I figure) but will also
a) create the raincounter entries in the Mon23log.txt files for each record (Mon = Jan, Feb, ....)
and
b) update the raincounter values for the already existing records (20-May thru actual day)

if so, how to proeed ?

or do I have to do that manually by creating/updating the raincounter in the log files for every single record ?
if so, I think I know how to proceed...

Sorry for the delayed reply.

CMX just uses and incrementing rain counter (though it can cope with it being reset, and does anticipate the counter being reset on some stations that only supply a year-to-date counter).

There are no tools that I know of that will do what you want for you. :(
