I get the same thing when I restart - but I'm not a WLL user, just the original data logger. According to @mcrossley it is to do with the number of data points available to MX at start-up for calculating the average wind speed. This may be a similar issue?Mapantz wrote: ↑Thu 01 Jun 2023 4:03 pm One slight issue for me; The average wind speed spiked when I restarted. It went from 6mph to 13mph and back to 7mph, CMX has logged that as the highest average speed today.
It did it yesterday as well.

Memo to self: take another look at this for the next release, it would probably be better to err to a low (even zero) value than a high value.

Re: Web tag error with davis wll
Is it something that appeared recently? I've not seen it with the wind speed before.

I was just about to stop CMX and edit the files with the correct high wind speed.. that wouldn't work.

Can you give me a little more detail please.
Is the "high" value coming from the catch-up data, or from the first "live" reading, or could be either?

Re: Web tag error with davis wll
I seldom have to do any catch-up, so I'm not sure on that. But, I did close CMX and immediately opened it again, and go the wind speed spike.
Occasionally, I have seen the theoretical solar value drop to zero on the graphs as well. That's not really a problem though.

Re: Web tag error with davis wll
Had some router issues, so I stopped CMX before I reset my router. Upon opening it, I had a big ol' spike of 23mph.
