Hi,
I have just upgraded from CumulusMX 3.14.1 b3160 to CumulusMX 3.25.0 b3241. My MQTT messages were working on 3.14.1 b3160. I am receiving the following error message on 3.25.0 b3241
2023-05-09 13:55:02.851 MQTT: Using template - mqtt/DataUpdateTemplate.txt
2023-05-09 13:55:02.853 MQTT: Error - Not connected to MQTT server - message not sent
Any suggestions on how to troubleshot this?
Thank You,
Lance

Re: MQTT: Error - Not connected to MQTT server - message not sent
I also wanted to mention I was previously using a 32 bit Raspberry PI OS on a Raspberry PI 4 B. I started with a clean install of Raspberry PI 64 Bit OS (2023-05-03-raspios-bullseye-arm64.img.xz). Since cumulusmx is now 64 bit capable. I have Mono version 6.8.0.105 (Debian 6.8.0.105+dfsg-3.3~deb11u1 Sat Feb 18 21:38:24 UTC 2023) installed.

Re: MQTT: Error - Not connected to MQTT server - message not sent
I was able to resolve the error by changing Internet Settings > MQTT > Server Name: from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to homeassistant.local.
Not really sure why that fixed it!

Re: MQTT: Error - Not connected to MQTT server - message not sent
Me neither, but that was quite an upgrade jump. The MQTT library CMX uses went from version 3.0.16 to 4.1.4 between those builds.
