Hi There

i cant get MX to receive the data from thwe WLL console

i have put in the correct IP. address but it just keeds saying
2023-04-25 14:59:48 Failed to connect to the station, waiting 30 seconds before trying again

where am i going wrong

Hi,
I presume your WLL is connected to the network and uploading to WL.com as you have a WLL IP address.
Have you ticked in station settings Enable Auto-Discovery [ x ] and leave IP address blank and [Save Settings]?
You can zip up the latest MXdiags file and attach it to a reply post and we can have a look.

Thanks for the super quick reply

i had set the station type to "Davis vue 2", which is station i have however i didnt see
the next item which is "weatherlink live" which is what i am using to get the data.

once i selected the correct type it all fired in to life and started showing data.

Thanks again for the quick replay, unfortunatly it was user error

all sorted now though and looks alot better than the previous app i was using.

just need to figure out how to get it uploading to a basic wordpress website without the use of FTP
dont get ftp on the basic wordpress websites.

will let you kow how i get on.

I don't know Wordpress, but with latest CumulusMX release there is an option to use PHP instead of FTP for uploads. But again, don't know if PHP works with WordPress.
