Software Error Updating the Weather diary Cumulus 1.8.9

The diary is colliding with uploads for both Web Update and Realtime.

I've set web upload to 10mins with realtime at 3 seconds - error
I've set web upload to 1 min and realtime at 30 seconds - occasional error

If there is an upload in progress then the Diary cannot update and the error appears. If you time it just right and avoid the upload you can update the diary.

Looks like a file locking issue as in upload not releasing the file quickly enough after upload to be able to save the weather diary information. However, it would be impossible to update the diary if your realtime update is set to 3 seconds as the file locking will not be released.

I have unchecked the realtime option under Internet Options and the diary still collides. Now I can update the diary until the "Uploading" appears in the bottom left corner of the main screen.

Thanks, Kate, at least we understand the problem now. I just have to work out how to open the diary file for the web tag without locking out the diary page. If it's possible...
