Airlink extra temp and humidity

Hi all,
I was wondering if the Davis Airlink's internal temp and humidity can also be logged by MX?
And how to do this, through the extra temperatures feature maybe ?
I'm using the latest build of MX.
Grtz

Hi,
They are logged in the AirLinkyyyymmlog.txt file.
There are also Airlink webtags including:
Code: Select all
<#AirLinkTemp[InǀOut]> The sensors internal air temperature value
<#AirLinkHum[InǀOut]> The sensors internal air humidity value
And you can use the Custom Logs settings to create logs with any data from webtags.
Enjoy,
Paul

Thx!
But I would like them to be viewed as an extra temp, humidity in the extra sensors tab, is that possible?

Hi,
Not that I am aware of, but Mark or others may know better.
Enjoy,

I am also interested in this. Due to the placement of my Airlink I actually want to use it as my main temperature readings for Cumulus instead of the ones coming directly from my Davis Vantage Vue Console. Not to hijack this thread but is that possible as well?

No, you cannot use the Airlink temperature sensor as your main sensor. As it is effectively a separate station implementing that would be very complex, that is also why it has a separate log file.
