Problem with Custom HTTP
Hi, I don't know if I'm posting in the right place, but I recently upgraded from Windows to Raspberry Pi 4 and I'm having a problem. The Linux version of Cumulus MX (b3235) is running. I don't know what's wrong, but the Custom HTTP option is not working for me. Windows version works, Cumulus image version for RPi4 works, Cumulus linux version on Raspberry doesn't... It is set to 1 minute and enabled in CMX options.
I've attached the log from a while ago. What could be wrong?

Re: Problem with Custom HTTP
The problem is in your Raspberry Pi OS. The prebuilt image is already fixed, but if you use your own OS build then see this: viewtopic.php?p=163078&hilit=windy+certificate#p163078

Re: Problem with Custom HTTP
Did you try a reboot after making the change?

Re: Problem with Custom HTTP
The log says
It seems as if Windy has nothing to do with it.
Can you post the URL for the minutes Custom HTTP ?
Code: Select all
2023-03-21 19:44:00.677 CustomHttpMinutes: The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.
and later it says:
[code]2023-03-21 19:45:00.105 Windy: ERROR - The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.
2023-03-21 19:45:00.239 CustomHttpMinutes: The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception. Can you post the URL for the minutes Custom HTTP ?

Re: Problem with Custom HTTP
Yes, today I changed the domain, but it still persists, the link is: http://www.pogodakrotoszyn.pl/ecowitt-mysql.php
The link downloads data to the mysql database. I can't do it from the CMX, because the database is on external servers, which I can only access via phpmyadmin.

Re: Problem with Custom HTTP
Ok, so you can't use the custom html feature.
I assume that the original question is now solved though you did not achive its goal

Re: Problem with Custom HTTP
I don't understand why I can't use it? As I wrote above, in the Windows version or in the CMX image version everything works, not here in Linux version. I don't think this issue has been solved

Re: Problem with Custom HTTP
Could you switch debug and data logging on and run a few minutes (after which you ca switch the data logging off) and post the logfile again. That way we hopefully get more info (e.g. the inner exception info).

Re: Problem with Custom HTTP
just looking at your issue, your logfile quotes "http" have you tried using https on that URL and not http ? cant see why the ssl connection would work on a http url connection.Shamy wrote: ↑Fri 24 Mar 2023 9:51 am In the log I see that the error still show:

Re: Problem with Custom HTTP
I just had https:// typed in before but it didn't work with that so I did http:// and it stayed that way

Re: Problem with Custom HTTP
Have you tried accessing http://www.pogodakrotoszyn.pl/ecowitt-mysql.php from your Pi by using something like wget or curl and looking at error messages?

I've never done this before, I'm posting a screenshot of the response I got. Was that it?
