alldaily json's do not get refreshed at rollover time

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

alldaily json's do not get refreshed at rollover time

The title says it all: alldaily json's do not get refreshed at rollover time.
I can manually Upload Now and that works. But not at rollover time with the new values.

Hi Hans

That is odd for you. The attached log file shows that mine automatically get refreshed and a check on my public_html file shows that they got there at rollover. As far as I am aware this is a standard CMX setting.

Hi Hans,

Are your alldaily json file uploads controlled through Extra Web Files? I'm having the same issue with my dayfile.txt and I've created a separate post for this to investigate. What I found was that if I take the tick of End Of Day then it uploads without any issues at my upload interval. With the tick on it is looking for a file ending in tmp which doesn't exist.

@Andy: indeed a standard setting, see screenshot. But they are not transferred at rollover.

@flort: No, they are not Extra Webfiles. Just the standard alldaily JSON's, see screenshot. Maybe your issue is related but that is to Mark to decide.

    My difference on the settings from yours is that I have ticked create local and upload on all the lines.

    That maybe so, but if I understood Mark well local creation is no longer required so the upload should take place without those ticks.

    Actually no :D simply because I don't use the default website and I am looking for the least transfers. And beside that, the datafiles should be independent of the default website, all other datafiles are.

    I'll take a look, but afaik they were uploading OK for me to my test site (without Create) during testing - it is not related to the Extra Files EOD issue.

      Bug found and fixed - they we only being flagged for upload if Create was enabled.
