Hi!
I have installed the new version of CUMX and C utils, but I have a problem uploading to the right place. It seems all files go to to CUMX directory where I am using a separate directory under CUMX named utils, whitch I have put in cumulusutils.ini as upload directory.
Help needet

Which upload protocol do you use (did you switch to PHP?)
Could you please post your logfile for the website command?
[EDIT:] and btw it is advisable to use CMX 3.24.1 b3234 to avoid some issues around the novelties of CMX 3.24.0

It is as if the utils overlook the "upload to" in the inifile.
Actually it indeed did overlook deeper directories. It assumes the upload.php location as the upload base.
I attach a patch 2 which should solve that any directory relative to the CMX defined upload.php location can be used now to upload. Hope no errors introduced. Note that you still have to adjust your Extra Webfiles destination just as the NOAA reports destination.
Please let me know if it works.

Hi Hans.
I think it did the trick. It now finds the right places for all the files.
Only one thing that I cannot get to work is use of the CUMX moon.
I used to copy the moon.png in CUMX extra files, but after changing to PHP the file copies but it makes the file bigger (ca 30kb against 17kb when I use FTP)
But I am very happy that you fixed problem with directory structure.
Thank you wery much.

That is strange.... I'll look into that, or actually I'll ask Mark how this is possible
I can confirm like Mark, moon.png updates and uploads at each hour. CMX b3234 install had 11,982 size at 11:00 and 11,987 at 12:00. The same in a b3212 install and in a CMX test.
No, the size did not change anything.
But strangely, if I tick realtime when transferring file it goes right with the original size about 11kb
Is there a way that cumulus utils can use the CUMX moon from the original place (by me ...CMX/images) in stead of CMX/utils/images?

I did not observe a change in size either so I suggest we skip that issue.

Actually, the location CUtils gets the moon image from is the one where CMX uploads it: it takes the value from the CMX inifile parameter MoonImageFtpDest. So wherever you upload the image, the location is in Cumulus.ini. Can't go wrong I'd say.
From my experience the moon.pg image does work in CUtils but you need to send it to ./images/moon.png. This is addressed though the internet settings in CMX.

If you change that in CMX it will upload to its new destination.
If you then regenerate the CUtils website it will pick up on that change. It really takes the CMX location I mentioned above. But it is a configuration, you need to regenerate the website.
It is as if you change a colour. You need to regenerate as well.
