Pi3B restarts when browser is launched.

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Pi3B restarts when browser is launched.

It has been a while...

This is a brand new install on a Pi3 Model B.

I have used the Pi Imager v1.7.4 to install Raspberry Pi OS (32-bit) release 2023-02-21 and updated it. Downloaded and located CMX v3.24.0 build 3231 and installed mono 6.9.0.105

Mono launches CMX without issues however when I run the Chrome browser to get to the wizard the machine just restarts, I get the same issue with Firefox.

Thoughts anyone?

As an update:
If I start Firefox ESR first I can then run mono and CumulusMX.exe without an issue, however when I Ctr-C the terminal the machine restarts....

I have no idea what could be crashing the OS - I guess there will be a crash report somewhere.

Meantime, can you run the browser on another machine and see if you can configure CMX from there?

Two things catch my attention. First, why such an old version of mono if the current is 6.12.x? Secondly, could this be a power supply issue that is triggered by a high cpu load dropping the voltage? I would check messages log for undervoltage announcements.

Swapping the PSU resolved the issue thanks. I will check the version of mono as well.
