Sorry Hans,

Going back to the reports issue - not sure if I'm following something wrong, Reports should be in the public_html/Reports folder on the server

So should that be /reports or ./reports?

I'm also a little confused what parts I should have changed to be compatible with utils

I'd say the Wiki page on this is leading.

The tilde has no meaning in the URL.

As it is relative to the upload.php location I think is:

No trailing slash required.

NOTE: I did not configure this correctly myself so now I have, definite decision tomorrow morning unless others know for sure.

Post the logfile with the NOAA creation and sending in it please (that is the rollovertime and one interval later).

I moved the reports out - to try and force the software to repopulate them by trying different folders can you just confirm that's practical? as no matter what folder format I use nothing is happening

nevermind - I put the files back and will leave it tomorrow - the report for yesterday did generate this morning so it must have worked then.

The generation is different from the transfer.
But let's wait for the logfile tomorrow.

The solution I worked out was :

./Reports

This was loaded on the CMX NOAA upload setting.

This solution also works for the Extra Web Files setting. Basically a relative path with reference to the upload script on your server

The extra web files settings in CMX started as you say with

/home/andyk/CumulusMX/utils/extrasensorsrealtime.txt /public_html/extrasensorsrealtime.txt

And then following the PHP upload "upgrade"

/home/andyk/CumulusMX/utils/extrasensorsrealtime.txt ./extrasensorsrealtime.txt

Like you getting this solution took me ages last night with multiple attempts to get the dots and slashes in the correct place and shape. It all seems to work and looking at my webserver host statistics the new upload is much less bandwidth hungry when compared to the old FTP process so I suppose that once we have got through the new learning process all will be just fine.

No. For this Extra Webfile to be in the root of the website you don't enter a path at all. You would just enter for the destination:

The point for current directory, as suggested by Andy, I think is allowed but redundant: any file without a path ends up in the directory where upload.php resides.
