Alternative Interface

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Alternative Interface

Post by water01 »

Just in case people have missed it Neil has published the latest version of the Alternative Interface to the CumulusMX Dashboard.

For new Users in the last 18 months or so since Neil started publishing this in Sept 2021, if you want a different look to the CumulusMX dashboard I heartily recommend this. Allows different colour settings, font settings etc. and has some additional features that Neil has documented in his ReadMe file. It is based on the default web page.

I stress that this in an "Alternative Interface" not a replacement for the standard dashboard so should be added to the /Interface directory. Keep the standard interface in case a fault is found.

A big thank you   is owed to Neil for maintaining this through the myriad of changes Mark is making. I myself use it in preference to the standard interface as I find it easier to read.

I second that!!

Apologies to Mark :D , but the alternative interface is much nicer especially on an iPad. Thank you Neil for all your voluntary hard work, it is much appreciated. The same thanks to everyone else on here that gives time and effort. Programming is a rather fraught occupation at the best of times especially when it’s as complicated as the weather. This forum is the most helpful and friendly that I participate in.
