NOAA Reports on my web site

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

NOAA Reports on my web site

Post by CumulusBat »

I use Cumulus Mx 3.19.3 b:3196

My NOAA reports are not transmitted to my web hosting.

Local NOAA reports are ok in the /CumulusMX/meteomx/Reports folder.

When I consult the directories of my website, I have the directory /public_html/meteomx/Reports

In the MXdiags, I have this message:
"error uploadind Reports \NOAAMO0323.txt to /web/meteomx/Reports/NOAAMO0323.txt"

"Can't open that file: No such file or directory"

Is it a write permission problem in the directory at my web hosting?

Hi,
Using GoDaddy web hosting, In my CMX I have;
for Internet settings - Remote FTP Directory: public_html/cumulusmx
for NOAA settings - FTP folder: public_html/cumulusmx/Reports
and displays

Code: Select all

http://www.komokaweather.com/cumulusmx/noaareport.htm
Note: no leading forward slash "/public_html"

While webhosts may use different protocol, my suggestion to try is to just add /Reports to what you have in your CMX "Remote FTP Directory" path.

Enjoy,
Paul

THANKS !
I just corrected the two places you mentioned.
I will wait for the update tonight to check.

And I'll tell you the answer if it's ok.

Thanks for your help: It works the transfer of NOAA reports to my website.

The site is not finished. I'm still experimenting with the layout.
Because, I want to modify the template provided by Cumulus.
