Multiple wind sensors?

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Multiple wind sensors?

Post by oh6hfx »

Is it possible to add another wind anemometer in Cumulus MX? I Can see there is plenty options for extra temp/hum/whatever sensors,
but couldn't find wind.

Now I have Weatherlink Live which is connected to Davis VP2 Pro and one extra sensor TX with other anemometer. Is it only option to install
two instances of Cumulus?

MX only supports one wind sensor, as you say it would need a second instance to record a secondary sensor.

Thanks! I will do it that way then, and play a bit with php to show all together on same website.
